Pictures!
The colors of Spring are beautiful here and just make me want to take pictures. As soon as the daffodils bloomed, I ran Andrew outside and did a little yard tour. Here are some of the pictures from our photo shoot.I love these pictures because they really show Andrew's personality at this age. He is just learning to pull himself up on things and he is so curious about everything. He is very interested in the nature around him and he just adores his Curious George monkey. He kisses and hugs it every night before bed and when we change his diaper, we let him hold onto it and he is perfectly still. He is growing so quickly and I love capturing moments like these!
A Trip to the Zoo, Finally!
We have been trying to squeeze in a trip to the zoo and something always seems to come up. While Billy was visiting, I thought it would be the perfect little day trip and a good way to get out of the house. Here is the day we tried going to the zoo, only to find out that it is closed on Mondays (of course, the day we were there)! We ended up taking a walk by the American River that day, which was equally as fun!
The following week, Jen came to visit and we were finally able to fit it in!

The peacocks all had their feathers out, which was pretty breathtaking and since it was an overcast day, most of the animals were out. A little mountain lion cub that was recently born was also out playing. We all enjoyed our time trying to get Andrew to see all the animals.
The zoo was so much fun that day, I ended up taking Andrew back the next week with a friend of mine and her two kids. This time, we rode the train, which he thoroughly enjoyed!
Bunny Day!
The child development class at Mike's high school sponsors different activities for the community to be involved with. This Spring, they sponsored bunny day which was filled with art activities, animals to touch, an Easter bunny visitor, and an egg hunt. Andrew enjoyed all but the Easter bunny!
